With a Newcastle upon Tyne postal address, you would expect to find Get Smart in the town, but you would be wrong. It is situated in the Northumbrian countryside on the Blagdon Estate, at the Milkhope Centre, a few miles north of Newcastle and just off the A1. The Milkhope Centre, Blagdon, Northumberland was converted from a
working farm into retail units in 1985. There is plenty of free space for parking cars, including
a wooded area. Essential to any visitor centre is food and
this can be found at the Blagdon Farm Shop. The butcher
shop specialises in rare breed meats and was awarded UK’s
Butcher’s Shop of the Year Award 2006/2007 and 2007/2008 , as well as numerous other awards. The
Milkhope Coffee Shop is where you can relax with a cup of
coffee and scrumptious home-baked goodies.
